Trap

The Flagler Sports and Conservation Association (Flagler Gun Club) operates 2 (soon 5) regulation, ATA approved, Trap Fields.

SCHEDULE:

Practice rounds are shot Tuesday and Saturday Mornings at 9:00 a.m.

November 23 will be the start of our "Winter League" shoots. The league will shoot every Saturday. This will be a part of the ATA BIG 50 program.

December 1 and 2 will be the 3rd annual "Northern Zone" trap shoot. This is a telephonic shoot between Flagler, Jacksonville, Robinson Ranch (RR) and Gator (Gainesville) for bragging rights for the year in our zone............RR has won it 2 years in a row. Dec. 1 will be 200 singles, Dec. 2 will be doubles and handicap. We expect a good turnout including a few campers in our yet to be completed camping area.

Stating in January, on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays the 4H and Boy Scouts Youth trap and skeet shotgun program will begin. I'm hoping it will be as successful as the program we started at Markham Park over 4 years ago. Last year we had over 100 young shooters participate.
